You always make thing look nice Kevin, impressive. I normally will tighten the fitting 4 times, loosen it, tighten it and on the forth tighten until it won't turn and fells solid. Each time you do the cycle the tube flare gives a little and on the fourth it solid. Some of the brass fittings I've gone too far and actually split the nut, so I'm cautious not to over tighten. I use Dot 4 yet some of these fitting just seem to have problems or maybe it's just me. As always, thanks for the input! The older 7/16-24 inverted flare and NPT fitting used a 9/16 wrench, much heavier than what is sold today.
