making good double flares is an art and a tedious job! like Kieth said above. It took me a while to get it down, another suggestion is to go very slow when forming the first and second flares as the tube is under a lot of strain and will crack very easily and make sure tube is at 90 degrees to the tool otherwise you will get an off axis flare and tons of leakage! I suggest taking some short pieces of tube and practice a lot untill you consistently come up with a good clean straight flare. good luck and have fun learning...
