Buy an all metal electric pump, solid state, avoid the plastic coated type, they tend to leak. I would only use the electric to prime the carb when setting for a while but not run both at the same time. You'll need to add a safety switch that activates off oil pressure as well to stop the pump if the engine stalls. Don't buy a cheap pump.
