The Power Wagon was originally purchased by Calgary Power Alberta Canada in July 1951, and used as a service truck at their Canmore hydroelectric plant near Calgary. In 1986/87 they restored it, and used it as a parade/PR tool until sometime in the 90s. It then went into storage until auctioned off to a collector near Red Deer. A good friend then purchased it in February of 2008, and kept it safe in his barn until I purchased it September 2010.

The truck is kept in a covered garage in AZ. No rust, and everything works as it should. I've got receipts for over ten thousand dollars at Vintage Power Wagons for parts and labor to make it a really special collector piece.

Parting with this truck was never in my plans, but life happens. I have the original invoice from July 1951 for the truck, as well as a binder full of receipts (and pictures) from the restoration done by the power company back in the 80s.
