1952 Power Wagon
This Power Wagon has been mechanically restored to working order. I can provide videos. There is very little rust on the body so it is an excellent candidate for full restoration. It would be ideal for a collector. It’s odometer reads 51,809. The original engine is a 230 cubic inch straight 6 flathead. The VIN is 83925550. It is stored on a farm north of Newton, Kansas.

Detailed list of all repairs:
- Installed starter
- Installed new condenser and Plug wires
- Installed new thermostat and gasket
- Installed new water pump, radiator hoses, heater hoses L/F freeze plug.
- Rebuild Carb. Had to order a new kit since one provided was incorrect.
- Installed generator
- Installed new fuel pump
- Installed new fuel line from pump to carb
- Installed new fuel line from pump to tank
- Remove cylinder head and intake/exhaust to grind the valves. Replaced all of the intake valves and had the cylinder head machined.
- Removed and replaced both battery cables
- Bent and installed brakes lines
- Installed new brake hoses
- Installed new wheel cylinders and remanufactured brake shoes
- Installed new master cylinder
- Cleaned, reinstalled hubs on drums and machined
- Replaced worn bearings on right front hub
- Repacked wheel bearings and installed drum/hubs on all four wheels with new seals and gaskets.
- Bleed brake lines
- Dismounted all wheels found 4 of 5 to be rusted beyond safe use.
- Repaired wires, installed new bulbs and installed headlight assemblies
- Drained and replaced fluid in the front axle, rear axle, transmission and transfer case.
- Removed rear driveshaft to replace oil seal on the back of the transfer case.
- Replace rear u-joints
- Replace u-joints on driveshaft between transmission and transfer case
- Had 4 used and one original wheels powder coated
- Installed new tires, tubes and flaps
- Installed new muffler
- Installed new rear tail lights and brackets.
- Installed new stainless steel fuel tank and filler neck.
- Blast and paint windshield frame. Install glass and weather strip
- Blast and paint side windows, install glass, install weather strips
- Removed window regulators to clean and lube
- Install new inside/outside door handles and window crank handles.
- Install new tail pipe and brackets/clamps.
- Change engine oil and filter
- Topped off oil in pto winch. Found to be leaking severely. Will need to be removed and resealed
- Replaced broken speedometer cable.
- Found speedometer to be seized. Removed, freed up and lubricated.
- Installed new rear glass.
- Removed damaged left front door latch – welded on latch to repair, but still should be replaced – not available at this time
- Installed new wiring harness, ignition switch, interior light switch and switch knobs
- Installed new rear-view mirror
- Removed heater to clean, repair and rewire. Reinstalled
- Tested amp gauge and fuel gauge. Both need replaced, but not available at this time.
- Tested generator and voltage regulator. Charges to about 25 amps.
- Made bracket to install horn on engine.
- Installed new inside door handle - drivers side
- Right cowl light needs replaced - back ordered from VPW
- Replaced wiring to spot light and installed fuse - works correctly
- Install customer supplied spark plugs, coil, cap, and points.
