Driving a 48 Willys Jeep truck from Chicago to CA, tranny gave up the rear main shaft bearing which took out the Warn OD, and the intermediate gear in Dillion CO. Called my Dad, Mom and brother came out and we rebuilt both units in the parking lot of a motel. Right across highway 70 in Silverthorne was Dodge dealer so it was nice being able to get the parts so close. Took a couple days and then we were on our way.
