One of my first exposures to the might of early Dodge four wheel drive trucks was when I was about 15 or 16.(1957-58?) There was a guy where I lived then (Laguna Beach) who took the cab and bed off of a very early Dodge and installed a Hillman Minx body on the frame. I really don't know if it was a Power Wagon or some other former military vehicle frame, but I do remember how weirdly cool it looked. I wonder how many other monstrosities like that were built?
