The truck starts, runs, drives and stops as it should. Clear Idaho title in my name.
Body work and new paint was done in 2010. Base coat Omaha Orange with Clear Coat.
The Clear Coat has begun to separate. I have been told it can be recoated. Please note the two images showing this on the hood and the radiator housing.
Engine appears to be from a Plymouth. Judging by how clean the engine is and fresh paint, it might have been rebuilt by a previous owner, but I have no proof of that. Oil pressure at startup is 40 and maintains 40. Compression tests within 4-5 psi of 120.
Running gear all functions as it should. Surprisingly few oil leaks. Locking hubs are reproduction of Warn M13 from Dan Shockley.
Radiator was completely rebuilt with new core.
Flatbed is steel channels and cross members with full 2" x 8" fir decking.
Fuel tank is from a Chevrolet pickup. 20+ gallon capacity with functioning electric sending unit and fuel gauge. Filling spout is in same original location.
New aftermarket replica gauges. Rebuilt and functional speedometer.
All original wiring was removed and replaced with new, using heat-shrink connectors. Blade type fuse panel was added. Charging system, bulbs, etc. were converted to 12 volts.
Horn, heater and wiper motor all work.
New headliner, new seat cover, and glove box liner. Good rubber floor mats.
Windshield frame was completely reconditioned with new seals and glass. Passenger side has cracked. Windshield regulator was replaced with rebuild by Dan Mininger.
New brake shoes and cylinders, rebuilt and relined hand brake. MICO brake lock installed.
Nearly new 900x16 STA tires on sand blasted and powder coated rims.
Front winch is a Braden MU2 with unique factory capstan drum extension. Winch functions perfectly, with all shifting and braking knobs and linkage intact and functional. New cable with tail chain. PTO unit has additional rear facing output shaft.
Front bumper is not factory original, but is a very close copy of original.
