I was contacted by a friend a couple of weeks ago about the drastic increase in hotel rates in Fairfield Iowa. I just not got of the phone to make reservations for the Rally coming up in June.
Does anyone know whey hotel rates have skyrocketed so much. $187.00 per night for one person with the senior discount.
It was not so long ago that the motels in Fairfield were offering discount rates for Rally week. Now it seems they are trying to make up for all of that past "generosity".
Don't they know that they are guaranteed to fill up early?
This may be the last year that I book a hotel. I may start just driving out for one day only since I am only 100 miles away.
