Finding original parts is pretty hard, but as Clint says there are more and more being found. Prices on those can be eye-watering.
I've toyed with the idea of making limited run reproduction PTO pillow blocks, but I haven't really pursued it. I have no idea how much demand there is for something like this. I imagine a reproduction setup would be comparable in price to an original. That's not great, but at least it's available to someone that really wants one.
If I were putting something together it would be nice to find an off-the-shelf PTO shaft that would work, but they could be made up if needed. The housing casting would not be too hard to make. Bearings and seals are easy. The two driveshafts from the transmission to the back of the truck and the carrier bearing would be modern parts.
The belt pulley would be harder to make. I know there's a way to adapt a Ford tractor belt pulley to a Power Wagon pillow block. I think the Ford units are fairly common. I have one here.
