You can swap in the early M37 (NP210) synchro trans or the later M37 (NP420) synchro trans, they both have the same bolt pattern as the up-to-type transmission in your PW for bolting to the bell housing and same length of the driven gear shaft going into the transmission. You will need to change the cab floor trans cover as the synchro trans shift tower is located further forward. You can buy a WM300 cover from VPW or cut, and weld to relocate the current opening in your cover. You'll also need the shift lever from the M37, it bolts to the shift stub and the TC lever bracket for the NP trans. It's a very easy swap.
