Today I was returnng home from visiting a 90 year old friend who recently fell and broke her leg.
That portion of the county road is just barely wide enough for two vehicles to pass each other in the summer. A guy was headed my way in a new Ford pickup. He could have pulled into a road that tees off the road he was on and wait 10 seconds, but he decided to continue. The road was covered with snow and the ditches on each side were filled in with snow. I knew one of us could get his right front wheel sucked in. Well, the end of the matter is, Dodge Cummins pulls Fords out of a snowy ditch backwards with no hesitation, even on a snowed over road. I could tell the guy was a little embarrassed but he was also quite thankful. Sorry, no pictures.
