I kinda came to the conclusion after looking thru the peep hole in the drum as you say that barely touching at the heel and .008 plus at the toe would the way to go dine the heel is fixed and the toe is what moves the shoe out and in
I did notice on the drum I was working on that there was more clearance between the drum and shoe in the middle than the heel or toe
Does the front shoe wear faster than the rear
