Hard to say without opening the top of the transmission and looking at parts. The smaller long pieces may be gear teeth and I would hate to think if the trans was repaired by someone they would have left those pieces in. Best thing for you is to take out the floor plates, remove the transmission top and have a look at things. If those pieces are from the 1st/2nd or 3rd gear and the gear was not been replaced, it is bound to continue to fatigue at that may leave you in the middle of know where. Parts for either the up-to or after type transmission are available and we can help guide you through any rebuilding if that has to be done.
