On my 58 w100, I used the 318 and np435 from a 70 d400. I used the front mount from that truck and it mounts on top of the front radiator support. The 70 hydraulic cross member looked to be the same as a 59? So I bolted the side frame brackets from a 59 to my 58 to use that cross member. It's been like that since 1994. The mount attaches to the engine a the front of the timing cover just below the water pump. It is a cast iron/ steel timing cover vs aluminum in the cars. And you have to use the early cast iron water pump.
Not sure if I have a good picture or how to post it.
