Let me explain a little better, the one time torque is for a new installation, the nut may be backed off ever so slightly to either verify or bleed fluid. of course bench bleeding is a must on any MC before install, once torqued, use of a pressure bleeder like the Wagner / Grimes 3000 is attached to the reservoir and proper bleeding starting from first item inline ie: proportioning/equalize valve, brake light switch, Mico brake, aux booster cyl. etc. then start at farthest wheel cyl and bleed back each cyl till the air is out. I've done hundreds of brake jobs by this method through the years and it works for me. The one-time torque sets the fit of the flare, you can replace components or repair and yes the nut must come off, however when reinstalling, again torque correctly to the new component. It's as simple as that, have fun and be safe! like I say 'brakes are under rated anyway! as for PWs, gears are king!
