Ive been through this with many of the power wagons I had, I finally found that taking the old ones to a reputable truck drive line shop and have them rebuild or make new ones for you, I used to go to drive line service (a chain across the US) in Reno, after moving here to Idaho I use Six States Distributors or Idaho Drive Line. Its amazing how well a nice fresh balanced drive lines with nice tight splines will feel driving down the road. And, they phase all the shafts for a vibration free run! The last set ?i had made were for my 67 W200 and my nephew has it now with over 250K miles on them and no vibration or noise.
