You're right, since I bought one of those compressors that doesn't look like a giant C clamp. But I can't really see any good way to get into a the center ones without pulling the manifolds. I may regret it, but winter is closing in here and I'm going to try to just button it up and run it as-is.

It did run and sounded okay even with the #6 exhaust stuck open. I'm concerned about #2 because it had way more build-up in the combustion chamber and on the valves than the others. The spark plug looked good, so it has been firing and burning, but I scraped what I could out from around the valves from the top. #3 cylinder has the worst ridging, but if I want to do anything about that we're into a full overhaul, which is more than I want to deal with now. Bottom line is it's an old machine with some wear. Probably worked a lot of miles for some ski hill back in its day. If I put 100 miles a year on it now, that would be fantastic. Too many other rigs need more attention.
