W500 Park Brake Assembly

The entire Park brake assembly is missing on my 1961 W500, there is just the four hole flange on the transfer case. Somebody in the past evidently was unhappy with it and removed it.

Parts are a real problem on this, anybody have any bright ideas for a Park brake? I was thinking of adapting an army M35 Brake to work.
