Rear belt drive

I have a belt drive off a Ford 9N, I was thinking about building an adapter plate to mount it to my FF and driving a 1920 Gould Pyramid Pump, just for fun. has anyone tried using a tractor belt drive before? Do you think I�d be wasting my time?
