I seems nowadays the no longer put keyways in the front crankshaft for timming gear. Fords are pressed on and some times slip and I seen a guy heat one and put it back on orientated the right way and weld it. Now GM duramax is having problems the same. I guess the old adage they don't make them like they used too it seems quality, longevity. dependability have plagued the new vehicle industry We better hang on to our old Power Wagons
