Vaughn . I probably didn’t explain the problem properly in my last post . The new Speed bleeders , come with a flash looking red sealant , covering the threads , which I would imagine is to stop leakage occurring past the threads , while the bleeder is opened during the bleeding process . It didn’t stop fluid leakage at all on any of the four newly re sleeved wheel cylinders , with clean dry threads . So , if fluid can leak around the threads , while the screw is open , there’s opportunity for air to be introduced also . No advantage over a standard bleeder , for me .
Cheers , Paul .
