At the top of the forum is the PIF file, at the TOC, go to Group 28, scroll to item "t" and and click on it. You should also click the DIY link at the top of the PIF file, both have good info and are good source to review prior to beginning assembly.

The repair manuals say to use chassis grease which is #2 grease to fill the knuckles. I use the Steelco grease - see link, it is made for the steel industry, is highly tacky, flows the same as #2, and oils do not separate and run out of the knuckles like you would find in a lot of other grease products. It's not cheap, but well worth the money.

The important thing with the knuckles are clean threads in the knuckles and on the bolts. They are grade 5, and if you get grease on the threads they will easily stretch, something you don't want. Just lubricate the surface of the bushings and axle UJs as a pre-lube, filling the knuckle will come later.

If you need addition info, let us know and welcome to the site and PW hobby!
