One common mistake, that I made once myself, is that I did not install the lead to the condenser next to the points spring at the fiber insulator. Both leads need to be on the inside of the distributor (the inside surface of the insulator). I had the coil lead on one side of the fiber and the points spring on the other - no spark.
That could be it or the crack in the insulator like Mike said. So you may just need to look or replace the insulator.
