Here is a thought for you to consider.
One of the biggest issues flatfender people have is getting the windshield and its gasket to seal well against the cab. I am no exception. It currently leaks a bit, and I have tried the "easy" fixes.
Someone many years ago on the Forum had what I thought was a very good idea...that is to fit the windshield frame (with its gasket) firmly to the opening, using its opening/closing mechanism, WITHOUT the glass in. Because that way you can bend and tweak it more easily. THEN have the glass shop install the 2 panels of custom cut safety glass.
One of these days I am going to have the glass shop remove my glass, do the above, then have it reinstalled.
