Power Wagon Woodie

Body by J.T. Cantrell and Company

Note from Dick Dickerson - JT Cantrell was my grandfather (my father's step father). The picture that is on the web site was taken in front of JT's home on 12 Dewey St. in Huntington New York, which I was fortunate enough to live in when I was first married.

I have shown my father, who worked with JT for a number of years and still lives in Huntington, the picture on the web and he though he was very familiar with that particular wagon.

He told me it was designed for the fire department and had additional bracing built into it in order to carry loads (like ladders) on the roof.

I just thought you might be interested in that info.
